I have just started reading Escape From Camp 14 about the only person to escape from a North Korean prison camp.
Whilst in the camp, up until the age of 23, Shin had no concept of the word or meaning of Love.
I wonder, now he does know it, is it different for him never being told from a young age what it was by others or experiencing it before? Did he feel it and not know? Ultimately my question is, is love natural or man made?
